Last Updated: 16 April 2026
1. Scope
This Cancellation & Refund Policy (“Policy”) describes the terms under which users (“you”, “your”) may cancel services or request refunds on www.loanvittus.com and related platforms operated by Vittus Fintech Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
This Policy covers:
• Paid non-lending services: DPR Builder, CMA Data generation, Subsidy Assessment, Business Consultation, and any other fee-based professional or software service offered by the Company.
• Loan facilitation services: clarifies that we do not charge borrowers directly and explains the cooling-off mechanism offered by partner Regulated Entities (REs).
This Policy is to be read with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Fair Practice Code, Disclaimer, and Grievance Redressal Policy.
2. Loan Facilitation - No Borrower Fee, No Refund Scenario
In compliance with the Reserve Bank of India (Digital Lending) Directions, 2025, the Company does not charge borrowers any processing, facilitation, or service fee for loans facilitated through partner REs. Any LSP fee is paid to us by the RE. Accordingly, there is no refund scenario for loan facilitation itself. Separately:
(a) Processing fees, EMIs, penal charges, and other lender charges are levied by the RE and are governed by the RE’s own refund and fee policies, as disclosed in the Key Fact Statement (KFS).
(b) Cooling-off period. You may exit a sanctioned loan within the cooling-off window defined in the KFS by repaying principal plus pro-rata APR for the period used, without prepayment penalty. This right is cross-referenced in our Fair Practice Code Section 3.4 and Terms & Conditions Section 5.3.
3. Non-Lending Services - Cancellation
You may cancel a paid non-lending service at any time before delivery by writing to support@loanvittus.com from your registered email, stating the order / invoice reference. The refund payable depends on the stage of work at the time we receive your cancellation request (Section 4).
4. Non-Lending Services - Refund Matrix
Refunds are determined by objective work-stage rules, not discretion:
4.1 DPR Builder and CMA Data Generation
Once payment is received and project inputs are submitted, the DPR / CMA report is generated automatically by the platform. Due to the automated and instant nature of the service, refunds are not available after the report has been generated or downloaded.
A full refund (100% of service fee) is available only if:
(a) Payment was made but you have not yet submitted project inputs and the report has not been generated; or
(b) A technical error on our side prevented the report from being generated despite successful payment. To request a refund under (a) or (b), write to support@loanvittus.com within 24 hours of payment with your order / invoice reference.
4.2 Business Consultation (Time-Based)
| Stage | Refund |
| Cancelled 48 hours or more before the scheduled slot | 100% |
| Cancelled between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled slot | 50% |
| Cancelled less than 24 hours before the slot, or no-show | No refund |
| Consultation slot rescheduled by the Company | Slot rescheduled at no cost, or full refund |
4.3 Subscription-Based Features (If Applicable)
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Amounts already charged for the current cycle are not refunded. You may continue to use the service until the cycle ends.
5. Refunds Where We Are at Fault
Regardless of the stage rules above, you are entitled to a full refund where:
(a) Payment succeeded but service was not initiated due to a technical or operational issue on our side;
(b) Duplicate payment was collected due to a system error;
(c) Service unavailable – we are unable to provide the service requested and have accepted payment; or
(d) Material deficiency – the final deliverable materially deviates from the agreed scope and cannot be cured within a reasonable time.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
Consistent with consumer protection law, refunds will not be payable where:
(a) The cancellation request is received after the final deliverable has been issued or downloaded, except where Section 5 applies;
(b) The customer supplied incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information and the deliverable was generated on that basis, provided we acted in good faith on those inputs;
(c) Third-party fees such as payment gateway charges or taxes paid to government – these are retained by the respective third party / authority and are outside our control;
(d) The service has been consumed (e.g., consultation slot attended, subscription period used).
In each case, if you disagree with our determination, you may escalate to our Grievance Redressal Officer under Section 10.
7. Refund Method and Timelines
7.1 Method. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method. Where that is not possible (e.g., expired card, closed account), the refund is made to a bank account verified in your name after written confirmation.
7.2 Payment aggregator. Refunds are processed through the Company’s authorised payment aggregator(s) – such as Razorpay or Cashfree – licensed by the Reserve Bank of India under the Payment Aggregator Guidelines. Final settlement and credit timelines therefore depend on the aggregator’s own settlement cycle and on your bank, card network, or wallet. For UPI transactions, refunds follow the refund timelines prescribed by NPCI.
7.3 Timelines.
| Stage | Timeline |
| We review and communicate our decision | Within 7 working days of receiving your request with complete information |
| We initiate the approved refund | Within 3–5 working days of approval |
| Credit to your bank / card / wallet | Additional 2–7 working days, depending on your bank or payment service provider |
7.4 Status tracking. A refund reference number (RRN) or acquirer reference number will be provided on initiation for tracking with your bank or payment provider.
8. GST and Taxes
Where GST has been charged on the service fee and a refund is approved, the refund will be processed inclusive of the applicable GST component on the refunded value, in accordance with the Goods and Services Tax law and invoicing rules. A credit note will be issued where required.
9. How to Request a Refund
